Use beacon management to easily add one or multiple beacons to your customer account(s). The beacons will be shown on the map of the customer environment and are used for indoor positioning. Link a beacon to a site to facilitate the ultimate indoor locating experience.
To add a new beacon, choose add. Now name the beacon and choose the account to link it to. Choose the type of the beacon and configure the applicable settings. Position the beacon on the map and optionally link it to a site to show the beacon on the corresponding floor map image. Use the circle or free form tool to show the beacon's signal range on the map. Save when finished.
The Cuebly platform supports various beacon types and protocol. Depending on the hardware used it is possible to combine beacon types in the solution.
The Twig beacon can be used in combination with Twig devices containing a SRD module.

WiFi access points can be used in combination with various devices from manufacturers like Twig and Magneta.

Sometimes, the virtual MAC address can change, but only the last character of the MAC. To work around this, you can enter an asterisk (*) at the end of the MAC address.
Bluetooth access points or BLE beacons are supported by most devices of various manufacturers like Twig, Magneta and Teltonika. Depending on the device(s) used the compatible protocol has to be used by the bluetooth access point. Also beware that not every manufacturer uses the same unique values broadcasted by the access point.

To edit a beacon click on the dots icon. Choose manage. Make any change, and press save when finished.
Some beacons send a low battery signal whenever the battery is getting low. This signal will be communicated to the Cuebly platform by a device nearby. Based on this event, a scenario can be configured in the customer environment to for instance send an email with information about the corresponding beacon. This is an easy solution to manage your preventive maintenance of the beacons.
Once the battery of the beacon is replaced, the battery reset feature is there to reset the low battery signal, making sure that the event will be triggered again on the next low battery event of the corresponding beacon.
To activate the battery reset, click on the dots icon. Choose battery reset.
To delete a beacon click on the dots icon. Choose delete and confirm.
