This page will answer some of the most frequently asked questions about the mobile apps.
Q. Why is there a permanent notification in my Android app?
A. The app implements many practices to prevent Android from killing or suspending the app. One of these practices is a so-called “Foreground notification”. This is a permanent notification to make sure the app is able to get processing time from the operating system. For example for positioning while the app is in the background.
You are able to hide the notification while remaining the function of it. You should disable the "App status notification" in the Android settings for the app.
