As with some hardware device types, the Cuebly app also offers the ability to geofence. This means the geofence presence list can be monitored including app users.
This page will help you understand and setup the app and the geofences.
To configure the app to enable geofencing:
You can configure the app to geofence automatically. This means that the app will periodically check its location against the connected geofences.
Android will do this every 15 minutes. iOS will do this periodically, and only whenever iOS deems it necessary. The iOS app has little control on how often this is checked.
Enabling automatic geofencing may increase the battery usage
You can configure the app to geofence manually. This means the user can manually assign itself to the connected geofences.
To do this:
In the device configuration, it is possible to setup the app to disable automatically when having left all geofences.
If configured to be geofencing automatically, it will keep checking internally for its location, but it will not send any data to the platform while it is disabled.
If the app enters a geofence (automatically or manually), it will re-enable automatically.
When this icon button is green and enabled, the app user is able to configure this setting in its app settings.
