The Cuebly app requires many permissions. Especially on Android.
The reason for this is that the app is monitored immensely, and it is crucial that you know when the app is no longer running.
Normally, the operating system (Android or iOS) will stop/limit the app if it encounters specific external factors. Some of them are:
The steps below will explain the process for both Android and iOS and why they are necessary.
Of course, when you open the app the first time, you will see the login screen.
If you were logged in elsewhere, the app will ask for your confirmation to continue using this app installation.
Due to OS limitations, the app needs the (optional) Bluetooth permissions at the start of the app.
Feel free to reject the permissions, but they are needed if you are going to connect peripheral devices or if you are going to locate indoor.
To apply a multi-factor authentication, Cuebly requires the user to have access to their mailbox. Cuebly will send a 6-digit security code that you will need to fill in here.
If you make an alarm, it is often important to know what your phone number is. Cuebly will not send an SMS to this number.
In case of a inactivity pre-alarm, the app can push itself towards the front of the app, but it needs permission for this. This permission is also used to automatically start the app when the phone reboots.
Press enable to go the the phone settings.

Press the Android back button to get back to the Cuebly app.
By default, Android will limit the app's resources when it enters battery optimization mode. You can easily exclude the Cuebly app.
Press Disable now to exclude Cuebly.
Android will pop up with a confirmation dialog. Press Allow here.
Android will automatically remove granted permissions from apps if they are not used often enough.
Since Cuebly is built to work in the background for a long time, it needs to make sure the permissions will not get revoked.
Press Disable now.

Find the switch that says Remove permissions if app is unused and disable it.

Cuebly will send you notifications for several reasons. Please allow the app to receive notifications, by pressing Allow.

In order to sound through silent mode or do-not-disturb mode, iOS needs specific permissions.
Please press Allow to be able to bypass silent mode.
The Cuebly app needs location permissions in order to be able to locate the user in case of an emergency.
The app will detect you have not yet given these permissions and will request them.

Then, the app will ask you to change your permission to always be able to get your position. This is needed for positioning when the app is opened.
